● Introduction of Convex Drainage Board:

Convex drainage board is a drainage board with both convex sides made from HIPS, HDPE, which can withstand high-pressure in a long run without getting deformed. Long-term resistance to pressure not only allows convex drainage board to withstand concrete bottom board weight and load, but also can withstand inevitable external pressure and impact during the construction, such as force from vehicles, walking workers and pouring of concrete. Long-term preventing bottom board from deformation, provides both waterproofing(water leakage prevention) and drainage, by using the convex surface to discharge water. Geotextile of filtrtion layer on the bottom board is used to prevent the drainage channel from blocking caused by incoming foreign substance, like backfilled soil particle or concrete.

● Convex Drainage Board using Instruction:

1. Drainage board's application in roof, garage roof construction.

1) For construction after completing waterproofing on garage roof or roof, set the slope degree to be 0.2-0.5%, the entire area to be free from water-accumulation.

2) Lay drainage board down along slope of the roof edge, with 1-2 pivot(s) overlapping on drainage board edge, and cover drainage board drainage board with a layer of geotextile with 10cm overlapping edges between 2 pieces of geotextile, to prevent muddy water from getting below the drainage board to maintain the smooth drainage.

3) Fully loaded labor vehicle is not allowed to run directly on the drainage board surface. Use wood board to build an access to prevent drainage board from damage.

4) Soil backfilling should be conducted timely (or, preferably, immediately), to avoid damage on drainage board and/or geotextile by other constructions.

5) If soil to be backfilled is clay, it is recommended to pave a 5-10mm coarse sand geotextile before backfilling, to avoid the compaction of geotextiles and drainage board to protect its permeability.

6) For upstanding-beam on the top of garage, the whole beam can be wrapped by the drainage board, with each volume drainage board to be fully paved, but hole at each beam should be treated properly. When paving drainage board gets to the hole, an appropriate hole should be made on bottom board correspondent to the hole of the beam, but the geotextile should be kept as a whole one.

2. Drainage board's application in basement interior wall construction:

1) Construction wall surface should be solid, flat, smooth and free from such phenomena as crisp, sanded, tilting, tipping, convex, potholes, and hollowing.

2) Construction wall surface should be coated with adhesives, to bond drainage board.

3) Interface agent should be sprayed into construction wall.

4) Use cement mortar onto drainage net, and use mortar for trowel finish.

3. Drainage board's application in basement construction:

1) Construction surface should be solid, flat, smooth and free from such phenomena as crisp, sanded, tilting, tipping, convex, potholes, and hollowing.

2) Pave on flat structural base plate with drainage boards overlapped each other, without slope making on the structural base plate surface.

3) Pave the drainage board with lap-joint method, with 1-2 bigger and small pivot(s) overlapped on the edge.

4) Pivot gap of plastic drainage board should be filled by C20 fine aggregate concrete, leaving 1-2 cm higher above the board.

5) After concrete setting, install rebar, pour concrete surface layer, and set the floor drainage ditch and collecting well.
